Dear Fellow Residents of Ramblewood East,

​My name is Janet De León and I am honored to announce my candidacy for the HOA Board of Ramblewood East. As a resident of  Building #12  since 2004, this community has been much more than a place to live—it has been home. For me, a single mother, Ramblewood East represented a fresh start, a safe haven where I could provide a nurturing environment for my children.

 

With over 28 years of experience as a high school English teacher and track and field coach in both public and private education, I bring a wealth of skills in communication, organization, and fostering collaboration. As an educator and a mother, I understand the importance of listening, supporting diverse viewpoints, and working toward solutions that benefit everyone—a perspective I hope to bring to our HOA Board.

 

Our community is a partnership, where each homeowner has an equal stake in its success. If elected, I am committed to promoting balance and transparency within the board, ensuring that decisions reflect the collective voice of all residents. My vision is to empower us, the homeowners, to take an active role in shaping the future of Ramblewood East. Using modern tools to improve how we connect and work together as a community is one way to do so. Platforms like Google Drive allow for easy sharing of important documents and updates, while WhatsApp provides an informal yet effective way to engage with residents and foster stronger connections.

 

As a bilingual Spanish speaker, I am also passionate about ensuring that every homeowner feels included and represented. Clear, inclusive communication is essential to a well-functioning HOA, and we need a new board that will prioritize keeping all residents informed and involved in the decisions that shape our community.

 

Ramblewood East has been the foundation of stability and growth for my family, and I am deeply invested in its continued success. By combining thoughtful leadership with effective communication and practical tools, we can create a more transparent and collaborative environment for everyone.
